Over the years I have audio recorded 5 separate space shuttle re-entries when the shuttle was in my forward scatter
reception range in the southwestern United States.

Here is a brief audio excerpt of the space shuttle Endeavor re-entering the ionosphere on May 29, 1996. I recorded this event
using two FM receivers and two separate yagi antennas. One radio is tuned to 91.1 MHz and the other to 90.7 MHz. The shuttle is reflecting
in various FM radio stations as it streaks across California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas on its way to land in Florida.

This is a brief excerpt.  File size :  1.8 Mb    1 minute 24 seconds.

The second specimen is the space Shuttle Columbia re-entering on November 5, 1995. Note
that I was recording WWV time signals into one stereo channel along with the FM feeds for exact time stamping of the specimen.
