May 15, 2007 A moderate Type III solar radio burst
episode as captured in sound below at 21.1 MHz in New Mexico.

Solar bursting kicks in at about 17 seconds
into sound file. Second burst peak midway through is stronger than the first
peak.
Observer's Notes: Here in New Mexico today there is sustained
high wind which is causing some electrical shorting somewhere
out on the power grid and it is infecting my radio recordings. The buzz
can be sort of a nuisance but as you can hear on the audio file
when the solar burst happens it totally drowns out all interference and
fills the radio with pure solar plasma oscillations. Yay.
