Jellyfish Sprite April 12, 2012 0657:05 UT This jellyfish sprite occurred in the vicinity of Amarillo, Texas. My infrared DSLR just missed the initial halo phase of the sprite in the image above between shutter clicks but caught the last millisecond before it faded. The analog video camera caught the sprite with its full halo and tendrils. I will add more pertinent information as to power and charge moment change when the information comes in.
