Here are specimen sound files and spectrograms of some interesting radio meteor receptions that have occurred recently during my full time observations.
It appears that occasionally a meteor will create a sort of modulation effect of the 83.250 MHz ( US tv channel 6 ) video carrier wave transmission.

Perhaps some of you may have heard something like this in your own radio observations?
Any comments or explanations of this modulation are welcome. Thanks for your time.

I am posting the sound files as full .wav files without any further compressions.

Radios are two separate ICOM PCR1000 models.  Antenna for 61.250 MHz is a half wave dipole. Antenna for 83.250 MHz is a yagi.

Radio spectrogram:  61.250 MHz CW ( tv channel 3 video carrier ) reception above white line, 83.250 MHz CW ( tv channel 6 video  carrier ) below white line.

Specimen occurs during 1912-1914 UT minutes  August 13, 2008   ( 13:12 - 13:14 MDT )

Radio spectrogram:  61.250 MHz CW ( tv channel 3 video carrier ) reception above white line, 83.250 MHz CW ( tv channel 6 video  carrier ) below white line.

Specimen occurs during 0107 UT minute August 18, 2008   ( 1907 MDT )
on the 83.250 MHz channel.

This is a full movie specimen. Interestingly, at 10 seconds into movie there is a streak of lightning to my southerly direction.
The vertical lines in the spectrogram above are lightning.
