The So-Called Wild Electromagnetic Surf from Jupiter and Io
:
Following
are some jovian sound specimens that we captured using a stereo radio telescope with about
300 kHz between right and left channels.
This gives a true three-dimensional feeling of the wave forms as
they move spatially in time and frequency. Sometimes it
can make for an interesting experience.
Headphones are strongly
encouraged for hearing subtle stereo detail.
